*Easter* (Saturday)

I don't know if I just have one word to describe today. Joyful, Fun, Sad.... Interesting. Today marks the passing of my Dad...5 years today. With that alone comes so much. Sweet Hunter has been asking TONS of questions about my Dad and asking me to tell him stories of him. I LOVE talking about him. He was an amazing man and I want my kids to know everything good about him. A couple of months ago it was really stormy and Hunter was scared that our house was going to blow away I told him that wouldn't happen because Grandpa had built this house, he said OK and went back to sleep. A couple of days ago it was insanely windy, I was even a little scared. We were all watching out the window and Hunter turned to me and said "It's going to be OK Mom, this house isn't going anywhere, my Grandpa built it!":)

In the morning we all got up, got ready, and headed for the Spanish Fork Easter Egg Hunt. We got there just in time. I asked the lady next to me how many eggs the kids could have each (because we missed the announcement) and she told me 4. The horn blows and my kids are off to get there four eggs. When they got done we found a spot on the grass and started opening them to see if they got any prizes, As we are sitting there we look right next to us and there is a Mom with three older kids (like 6, 8, and 10) (mind you we are at the "little kid" field) and they seriously have over 50 eggs.....Seriously? I just don't get people like that. My kids looked at them like "why did they get so many eggs" what do you say to that, well kids, they don't want to play by the rules, their cheaters! There were SO many people that did that. It makes me crazy! I'm not going to lie though, it kind of makes me want to "cheat" but I know that would be the worst example for my kids so we will play by the rules and be better off:)
OK I'm done with my rant:)
Jagger woke up just a little off, it was like he was trying so hard to be happy and put a smile on his face but this is all that would come out. When we got home I fed him and put him to bed and he didn't wake up until 5 , then I fed and changed him and he went back to sleep for the rest of the night. Poor little guy has a bad fever (102.6) and has such a stuffy nose that he can't breath...it seriously breaks my heart and makes me want to cry!:(

The kids had such a good time at the Easter Egg Hunt. They all got little grab bags with jump ropes and balloons in them and a couple of other treats. They were so excited:)

The eggs were really hard to open

Could somebody please tell me what EVERYONE else is looking at?

Mom and I got ready, pretty much the entire day, for our Family BBQ and Easter Egg Hunt. I made Pulled Pork for sandwiches (It was AMAZING!) and a bunch of other things...we were very well fed:) Then we had the eater egg hunt, inside....again! LAME! I want warm weather! Anyway, everyone still had a great time and then we played a game, we split everyone into 2 teams and played a game with all questions about my Dad, it was soooo fun!:) I'm pretty sure Team Awesome won...YA!
Chris missed all the festivities because he was taking one of his finals. When he finally got done we went out to his truck and it wouldn't start...lovely:) The boys ended up going to get him and he got home when everyone else had gone...so sad!
So in a nutshell this day was....interesting. Lots of laughter and lots of tears. I'm not going to lie, I'm glad it's over:)

*Picking Flowers*

My cute kids LOVE to pick dandelions, they collect a handful and then bring them into to me. I have a little vase I put them in for the day. Well we have a ton in the backyard right now so they decided to get Hunter's dump truck and collect them that way. I know that they are just weeds but they might as well be a rose in my eyes. I love it:)

It's been fun to watch the two big trees in the backyard. I have tried to capture every season of it. I love that the leaves are starting to develop.
This is in the far back of the backyard and I know they are just weeds but I think the purple "flowers" are beautiful:)

*Bath Time*

I love that all of my kids can have a bath together now. Jagger is hilarious in the bath, he LOVES to splash. Sometimes it annoys Skyla but Jagger and Hunter just laugh and laugh. I love my kids so much. I swear it's the little things like this that make my life perfect:)

Hunter is washing Jagger's helmet and he thinks it's so awesome because it looks like a "waterfall":)
*Look at Jagger...pure joy on his face:)

*Mobile*

I've been meaning to post this for a while, my little man is SOOOO mobile now! It kind of makes me sad. It's funny, with Hunter is was like a race to see how soon he could sit up, crawl, and walk and now with little Jagger I just want him to slow down...way down. He is most likely going to be my last baby and I just want to enjoy every single minute with him.

*So Proud*

When I went to pick Hunter up from school the kids were playing a game in the front yard...I told him I would go and get his backpack and painting, so I went and picked it up and Miss Jamie (his teacher) said that Hunter had told her to make sure a let me know that he painted this picture for Skyla... she said "Isn't that sweet?" I said "It is, he is such a sweet boy" she proceeded to tell me that he is one of the nicest little boys she's ever met. She said that he always says Please, thank you and excuse me and he always compliments her. I couldn't be more proud of my boy. He is a very polite, sweet little boy at home but you never know how they are when their away... now I know. She made sure to tell me that this was NOT normal for preschoolers...
I'm so glad my Hunter is not "normal":)

*Conference Weekend*

What a GREAT weekend. I love when Conference weekend comes around. This year was a little different because Chris had to be at school all day on Saturday but the kids and I had a great time listening. Skyla came over to snuggle with me and Hunter said "No Skyla, come snuggle with me" so she did...how cute are they?!

On Sunday after conference we went over to Cory and Elisha's for dinner and it was AMAZING...then we played games and ate home made Oreo cookies! YUM! We love hanging out with them and can't wait to do it again soon!:)

*Picnic*

The other day we went in the backyard and had a picnic. Hunter ate his food in about .02 seconds but Skyla, of course, was a snail of an eater. Jagger was hilarious and kept trying to take her food from her. At first she just laughed but by the end she was really distraut. It was soooo funny!:) Don't mess with this girl and her food.

She figured out that by holding his hand he couldn't grab her food,

I love this sneaky look on his face.
We are so lucky to have our own personal Super Hero (Batman) in our family and of course his assistant, SuperGirl

I LOVE this picture of them taking flight.

Fun Fun Day:)
