*T-Ball*

Hunter started T-Ball this year and so far REALLY likes it. He is really good at hitting the ball, throwing the ball, and running fast. (We'll work on the catching:) He's on the same team as his best little buddy Brock and they are SO fun (and funny) to watch!:D

High-fiving the coach

*29 and Holding.....

I had the BEST birthday! It was definitely a bummer that Chris wasn't there but my kids, my Mom, and my amazing sister and her family made it WONDERFUL! We went out to lunch at The Pizza Factory where Mom and Jess surprised me with balloons, cupcakes, ,and a 29 pizza. Jess says that I can stop counting at 29 and I am NOT one to argue. :D We went home and put the kids to bed and Mom and I went downtown to get my oil changed, while we waited we went to a couple of stores, I got a cute royal blue shirt from Bella Ella. When we got back we asked Mike if he would watch the kids while we went to Veronica Micheals so Mom could try on wedding gowns. He said yes (because he's a complete stud!) and we had such a blast! Of course my mother looks good in EVERYTHING but there was definitely one that stood out above ALL the rest (and I'm the one who spotted it thank you very much;) She is completely stunning! After we goofed off there for a while we headed to McDonalds to pick up dinner and then watched the Bachelorette. I am SO grateful for such a wonderful family!

This is me pulling my Moms hair back so she could see the neckline and below is Jess and I pulling the "OH MY GOSH!!! Mom face:D (terrifying, I know!)

*Mother's Day*

I had a GREAT Mother's Day this year. Chris was able to come home and we celebrated Mothers Day and my Birthday on Sunday. Skyla kicked off Mothers Day on Saturday by bringing me these beautiful flowers from next door (Charlie helped her and even tied a yellow ribbon around them) PRICELESS, I LOVED them!
You know those moments that you can't wait for, like, your kids writing you letters, or them saying or doing certain things? Well one of "those" moments happened this Mothers Day with Hunter. He gave me the most precious book called "My Mom is Great" I drew all the pictures and wrote the story...it goes like this:

My Mom is Great
by Hunter Knudsen

My Mom is brave. She killd flis. (he drew a picture of me sucking up a fly with the vacume:)

My Mom is smart at cookeng (a picture of me raising my hands in the air after taking cookies out of the oven)

My Mom is beautiful. I like when she wers her colorful dress. (a picture of me in a dress with every color you could ever imagine:)

My name is Hunter. I LUVE my Mom!

Isn't that the best story EVER!!! It seriously made my whole year!:D I will cherish this book until the day I die! I have the best kids in the whole world! I LOVE being a Mommy (even on the hard days:)
I'm also blessed enough to have the best Mom in the world! :D

*Mom's ENGAGED!*

Well it's been two and a half years in the making...what started off as friends is ending up in blissful marriage. I am SO happy for my Mom AND Ken. They truly make each other better people and they make each other SO happy. I couldn't be more happy for them.
Congrats you two!:D

*Joy School Graduation*

Here is our sweet Skyla graduating from Joy School. She had SO much fun this year will all of these cute kids. She still asks everyday "Do I have school today?" I'll say no and she'll smile and say "OK tomorrow!"

*Chris Leaving*

Chris is working out in Vernal all summer long and we miss him SO much! This is from the night he left, Jagger definitely doesn't get it but Hunter and Skyla do. He has been gone now for about a month and we have had our ups and downs. I'm trying to keep the kids busy (and myself) so that we can't think about it to much but those moments that Skyla will say "Why doesn't Daddy want to be with us anymore?" And Hunter saying "Tell Daddy we don't need any more money, he can have ALL of mine!" that's the part that breaks my heart. When I really think about it, it isn't that different from the past 2 1/2 years he's been going to school but knowing that even when he was at school he would eventually come home and come to bed, right after he woke up all the kids to give them a hug and kiss and tell them how much he loves them. For me, that is the hardest part. I'm so grateful that Chris gets to be with Jake and Megan out there because I know that makes it a little less hard for him to be away.  Chris is SUCH an amazing husband and father and we are so grateful for the sacrifices he is making for our family. (Skyla's very first dance recital, Kindergarten graduation, all the T-Ball games, etc.) I know it will all be worth it in the end.

*I don't know what happened to the pictures I had of him and Hunter.sad!

*Thanksgiving Point*

For Skyla's last Field Trip with Joy School we went to the Dinosaur Museum up at Thanksgiving Point. Skyla and Jagger had the best time!
 Seriously, how cute is this?!
