Where do I start....My sweet little Skyla Jean. I can not believe how much love I have for this little girl! She makes me smile and laugh everyday of my life. When I look back at the last 19 months of her life it amazes me at how far she has come. I'm not going to lie, the first 10 months of her life were extremely...um... ROUGH for all of us, those of you that know us know exactly what I mean. She was the most beautiful little baby girl I had ever seen but she was very sad and sick baby. When I see pictures when she was in the hospital and we almost lost her it makes me cry every time and it puts this ache in my heart. As soon as we figured out what was going on with her little body she blossomed into this outrageously fun, energetic, feisty, amazing little girl and I am so grateful for all of our family, friends, nurses and Doctors for getting us through the struggle.
During the last couple months I have been so distracted with moving and then going right into the holidays that I forgot to take Skyla's 18 month pictures and have her go in for her 18 month check up. So I decided to take her in the back yard and follow her around with my camera, I got a couple of cute shots so here you go:

little Lala is getting so big! She has changed so much in just a few months! She is looking like a little girl, no longer a baby girl! That is crazy how fast that happens! Oh, little lala! :)
It's crazy how time flies isn't it!! soak it up cause it just keeps going by faster and faster very day! But I have to say she is to cute!
i love the fourth from the bottom in the b/w it is so pretty. And then the last one is adorable with her smile and the bright colors. Good job on your photo taking jame. You are so good at it. I can't believe our babies are so big now...where did the time go?

I can see how that adorable little face would bring a smile to your face everyday :)
As far as your photography goes Jamie, your doing a great job. My only recommendation would be to study natural lighting and be aware of where the sun is hitting your subject. "Open Shade" is something you will want to look up. It's amazing the difference you will notice once your more aware of what the light is doing.
Sorry if i'm talking your head off, i don't know how much you have studied about photography, but from one photographer to another, I can tell you it's so rewarding to see the difference it makes. :)
