I had the realization a couple of days ago that my baby is growing...of course he's growing but he is REALLY growing. He is starting to talk getting into things he should be to little to get into. We are going to put him in Hunter's room in the next couple of months and I realized that I most likely will never have another baby in this beautiful crib that Chris made. That is such a sad thing for me. I know it has to happen sometime but I will miss going in to get my baby in the morning with a huge smile on his face and his arms reaching out to me. Don't get me wrong I LOVE seeing my kids grow and get into their sweet personalities, I will just miss my babies too!

I don't know if you know this secret our family is keeping....but.....Spiderman is MY son! That's right Hunter is the REAL spiderman. He is always doing good and protecting our world. We are SO lucky to have him!:)

I had my photo studio set up the other day and he asked if I would take some pictures of him in his "gear"

Looking at these pictures make me laugh (he OBVIOUSLY posed himself:) but as you can see the first picture he's all proper and then you can see him getting into character. Love it!:)

Stitches are OUT

Skyla got her stitches out on Tuesday. Hunter REALLY wanted to go with her so I let him come. The whole way over Skyla was telling us how brave she was going to be, I knew that once she got there it would be a different story and was I right? HECK YES I was right:) As soon as they walked us back and she saw the bed she started freaking out. She wanted to sit on my lap but they needed her to lay down. The nurse was trying SO hard to calm her. She got her scissors out to cut them and she said to Skyla "Look how cute these tiny little scissors are!" Skyla calmed down a little and goes "They ARE cute!" Then the nurse explained what she was going to do and she freaked out again. They called in 3 more nurses to help hold her down. Hunter did not like that ..he said to me "their not going to hurt her are they?" He is such a great brother. I had her little face and hand and as soon as the second stitch was out she started to relax. She was totally calm by the time they were down and she sits up and says in a perky voice..."I was SO brave...Huh Mom!" She was so proud of herself.

Skyla's First Stitches

Time: 5:15 P.M.

The kids were all playing in there room and I went downstairs to put some rice on for dinner. My Mom had just gotten home about 15 minutes before and we were talking about our day. When all of the sudden you here Hunter yelling and slurring words...Skyla is screaming bloody murder, I finally start understanding what Hunter is saying "Hurry Skyla!" "MOM!!! THERE'S SO MUCH BLOOD!" "It's OK Skyla!" As soon as my Mom and I heard the door open we both bolted upstairs. They were coming down to hall toward the stairs and we see Skyla. I haven't seen that much blood since Chris cut his fingers off. I knew it was pretty bad. Her mouth was just overflowing with blood. I put her on the bathroom counter and had her over the sink. I put my fingers in her mouth to see if a tooth had fallen out or what had happened, the lower half of her face was covered in blood so it was hard to tell, then I started getting the blood off of her face and that's when I saw it. She had a huge hole on the bottom of her lip into her chin. It was SO gross. I asked Hunter to show me what had happened and he said she was trying to do a back flip off of the toy chest into tons of blanket and pillows...my guess is that she jumped forward and down instead of backwards and hit on the corner of the toy chest. Hunter felt so awful and just broke down bawling..."please Mom, let me go with you, I don't want to leave my sister!" He was so sweet! I went back into the bathroom and my Mom looked at me and said "You've got to get her to a Dr." So I called my Dr. to see what I needed to do but they didn't have the after hours Dr there for over an hour so she told me to go to the ER or an Instacare. I told my Mom what the plan was and she looked at me and said "Just a minute!" and sat on the bathroom floor and put her head between her legs...she had just gotten her blood drawn at the Dr's and hadn't eaten yet and then the adrenaline rush hit her! We got her some water and then headed over to Instacare. After waiting for 30 minutes to check in (not so instant:) they told me that they didn't accept my insurance...LOVELY! So we headed over to the Payson Hospital ER. She FREAKED out when anyone came near her so they had to sedate her. After about 20 minutes it still hadn't set in completely and they thought that was odd so they gave her another dose. IT WAS AWFUL! Her eyes stayed open the whole time, they Dr. said that she would be in a "dream like world" her eyes were shaking back and forth and her little leg kept moving and then she would moan every once and a while. There are no cameras allowed in the ER so the only picture I got was on my phone but I think I'm going to erase it because I NEVER want to see her like that again. But if I could have taken pictures of when they cleaned it out you would have seen how bad her hole was on the outside and then the inside is just a big ole hole that looks like hamburger all around it...SO SAD! I had to keep a hold of my emotions, not just because of her poor little face but because I had an overwhelming sense of gratitude that my children are healthy and happy. I can not imagine what it would be like to see my child suffer through a disease or cancer or anything like that and I pray I will never have to go through such a trial. As for Skyla, she got 6 stitches and will be OK, she will most likely have a scar but it could have been SO much worse. We are definitely counting our blessings!

This morning she wanted me to take a picture of her smiling:)

Her diet for the next few day consist of Milkshakes, Popcycles, yogurt and baby food. She can't have anything with "particles" because it could get stuck in the hole on the inside of her mouth.

New Years Eve

We had a fun. low key New Years Eve this year. Kelly and Jen invited us to go to the BYU basketball game so we ran a few errands, went to Wendy's for dinner and headed to the game. When we got home we ate tons of junk and played 5 crowns with my Mom and Ken then watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Fun night!

I LOVE when everything settles down after Christmas and the kids don't want to leave their bedrooms because they have so many new and fun things to do.

Hunter gave Skyla a makeover with all of her new makeup, he even did her hair (aka got it wet)...doesn't she look AMAZING?!:)

The other day Jagger was playing in his room while I was paying some bills. I hadn't checked on him in maybe 5 minutes and when I went to check on him this is what I found:

He was on the stairs with a Ding Dong, it was ALL OVER! At first I kind of laughed and ran and got my camera because I thought it was kind of cute:) So after I took some pictures of him, I took him into the kitchen to clean him up and I found 5-6 Ding Dongs eaten and all over the floor. What a punk! The ironic thing is, is that Chris and I had talked just a couple of hours before this happened about putting a lock on those doors. Crazy kid!

Christmas was SUCH a blast this year. The adults went to bed after 2 am and our cute kids woke us up at 6:01 am (the rule was they couldn't wake us up before :)We gathered in the upstairs hallway waiting for everyone to wake up and then headed downstairs. The kids were SO excited for what they got!

Trouble Maker!

I LOVE when Christmas is on Sunday. I think it helps bring it back to what Christmas is really about!

We got the TV a couple of weeks before Christmas because our old TV went out. Chris made the entertainment center...it still needs doors on it but I LOVE it!:)

Christmas Eve

Everyone came over for the annual Christmas Eve Party. We had SUCH a great time! We started with Christmas dinner, you know, the traditional stuff like Ham, Funeral Potatoes, Rolls, Corn, Jello and we ended with Root Beer Floats. SO YUMMY! We also got the BEST SURPRISE EVER! My Aunt Gayle, Uncle Tom, Jenna, Korry an DJ stopped by to visit for a minute. It was THE BEST! (We definitely miss J's and Jenny though!) Then we had our program, Elisha was in charge this year. We played minute to win it games and it was SO much fun! Then Santa brought all of the kids Christmas Pajamas. They all got ready for bed and we finished the program by watching the Nativity and Jess and I sang "Mary, did you know?" Then we put all the kids to bed. When everyone was down we played Werewolf and had a BLAST (even though my Mom and I SUCK at this game;)

Last weekend we got to watch Chad and Donna's cute kids for the weekend. It was definitely CRAZY but we had tons of fun too!:)

We even went to our Ward Christmas Party. Chris helped us get there but then had to leave and then my Mom came to help the rest of the time. It was a Polar Express party and it was SO much fun. The kids LOVED it, Santa even gave them a Christmas Bell from his sleigh. SO COOL!;)

Christmas PJ's

This year I decided that I was going to make Christmas PJ's for my boys. Every year on Christmas Eve Santa leaves Christmas PJ's on the front porch. I decided since we have Mr. Jingles (our elf) here he can just take them home tonight and give them to Santa so he can deliver them here himself. I found an easy pattern on Pinterest and went to town. I screwed up a couple of different times but thanks to my awesome friend Paige we were able to make them easily:) I LOVE how they turned out:)

Nielsen Adult Christmas Gift

My Mom took us out on Saturday night for our annual Christmas present from her. She takes all of the adults out to Red Lobster where we can order ANYTHING and however much we want. It is seriously THE BEST! I ordered Mozzarella Sticks for my appetizer and a Bahama Mama drink and then had a yummy steak meal with a warm cookie and ice cream dessert! Delicious! After dinner she takes us to whatever Christmas show is playing at the Scera Shell...it was fun to be out but NOT the greatest show.

I LOVE being with my family we seriously have THE BEST TIME together. I am truly blessed!

Joy School Christmas Party

I was in charge of Joy School this week and we had SO many fun things planned. When the kids got here we read Christmas Stories, sang songs, made reindeer food, played pin the nose on Rudolph, colored, made snowflakes out of gumdrops and opened presents. It was SO much fun.

Temple Square

For Family Home Evening on Monday we decided to go up to Temple Square. My Mom was already in Salt Lake so she wanted to come with us. So Ken and I dropped Jagger off at Donna's (the high that day was 25 degrees so we thought it would be safer to leave him home) then picked up Chris from school and headed to Salt Lake. We met Mom at Applebee's and it was REALLY good, plus the kids got to eat free...LOVE IT;) then we ran across the street to Fashion Place Mall because Mom and I wanted to check out H&M...to be honest I was TOTALLY disappointed but whatever:) Then we headed to Temple Square. It was FREEZING! We literally were in the car for like 20 minutes getting all bundled up. The lights were SO beautiful and the kids did SO well! I had Skyla's hair down because I thought that would help keep her neck warm but that was a HUGE mistake, her hair was SO staticky and slippery that her hat wouldn't stay on...Lesson learned:) We had such a great time and can't wait to go back up next year with our WHOLE family. We definitely missed our Jagger:)

Shoveling Snow

Visit with Santa

We went to RC Willey on Saturday to visit Santa Claus.

The kids we BEYOND excited to see him!

My Mom met us there. Luckily none of the kids freaked out, they all LOVED him:)

The #1 thing that Hunter and Skyla want this year is a candy cane with M&M's in it.

Santa said he was pretty sure he could pull that off;)

They had a trio going around the store singing carols. They stopped by the kids and took requests for about 20 minutes while we looked around at bedroom sets for my Mom. When we came back to check on them Skyla had said "Hey! I want a turn!" So they sang Frosty the Snowman and they got quiet the crowd:) It was SO cute!

They boys had fun watching:)

Oh ya, and our TV has pretty much died so we got a new TV there too:) We are way excited to get it:)

Meet Running Bear!

This is Hunter's Native American name. Chris and I got to come up with the name for a school project.

It means "he never slows down and is very protective over is cubs (aka family)

He came home with this AWESOME picture of him as a Native American. (everyone thought it was a pirate:)

He also made this for Thanksgiving. He is getting very creative:)

He didn't even ask how to make it, he came up with it on his own.

Thanksgiving this year was very low key. We had Donna and Chad's family over for the big feast. Chad and Chris watched football and the girls looked at all the black Friday sales while we waited for everything to be ready. When we pulled out the turkey and started cutting into it, it wasn't done, it was still bleeding in places! Our biggest mistake was that we bought a 25 pound turkey and put the tinfoil on to tight so the heat couldn't get in, so Chris and Donna ran to the store and bought a rotisserie chicken. We teased that instead of a Turkey dinner we had a churkey dinner:) It was a lovely meal and a very relaxing Thanksgiving:)

(Skyla got her first pair of heels and she LOVES them, she cried when I told her she couldn't sleep in them for her nap:)

Hunter!!!

I got a call last weekend from the Reflections Chair and she told me that they were going to have an assembly to announce the winners of Reflections. She was so excited on the phone, going on and on about Hunter's entry and how she would hang it on her wall, etc. She also told me that Hunter had won, she said that it's fun for the kids to not know until the assembly so I kept it a secret. My Mom was able to get out of school a little early and Jess came over to watch the little ones. It was SO fun to know that he won and him not having a clue. They called his name and he was shocked...it was so cute. He said "Is that ME Mom?" Heck yes it's you...go up!:) I'm so proud of my sweet Hunter...he was also the only kindergartner that won!

Reflections

This is our first year doing reflections...the theme is "What does Diversity mean to you?" I told Hunter (in simple terms) what Diversity means and then picked out some projects from pinterest that went with the theme and let him choose. This is what he chose. He sorted the crayons in the order he wanted them in (I hot glued them exactly how he had them) and then he got the blow dryer and did the rest. I think he did such a great job!

Halloween

Halloween was SO much fun this year! It was on a Monday this year so Hunter got to dress up for school and march in a parade with all of his little classmates. He looked so cute!

For lunch we had Pumpkin Pancakes, I let the kids decorate their own (except Jagger:) and they thought that was the best thing ever!

For dinner we had "Mummy's" aka pigs in a blanket, they thought that was pretty cool too:)

Chris was out of town for three days so he wasn't able to join us for all of the festivities but my Mom and Aunt Jess went Trick or Treating with us. It was such a beautiful night and not cold, which is always a plus. The kids got a TON of candy which the next day they took to the Dentist (he sends the candy over seas to all of our troops, way cool!) who paid them a dollar a pound...they made $7.00 bucks.

It was such a great Halloween!

Last year we got tickets to go to Cornbelly's but they day we wanted to go in got rained out so they sent us tickets for this year. We decided to go after I took the Family Pictures. Chris stayed home with Jagger so he could do homework so Skyla, Hunter and I went up with Uncle Mike and Aunt Jess. We had the BEST time!

Skyla was SO funny with this horse, I don't think I have EVER seen a smile so big!

2nd Annual Nielsen Halloween Party

We had SUCH a blast this year at the Halloween Party. Jess and I worked tirelessly for days to make sure it was going to be awesome and Mom funded it:) I think it turned out awesome. We had a ton of new fun games that got everybody up and moving:)

(Scarecrow Relay, Donut on a String, Candy Corn Relay, Body Tags, Tempt the Fates, by FAR the funniest, here are some examples:

Kelly received the card that said, "Follow Jen for five minutes on your knees. Do not speak to her, etc." It was hilarious--Jen had no idea what was going on! In the end, Kelly received a $10 gift card to the Pizza Factory.

Some other hilarious moments:

Chris screaming, "EDWARD!!" for thirty seconds straight.

Chris going up to Megan and shimmying like crazy.

Mom explaining cars to Jake, and acting like she was right. :)

Ken holding an ice cube in his hand until it melted, while Mom kept asking, "What are you doing? What is going on?"

I had to laugh maniacally after everything I said for five minutes.

Mike stood in the middle of all of us and screamed, "I'm alive!"

Our family had $0.00 to spend so we went with what we had and then borrowed:) Chris and I are a bride and groom (This wasn't my wedding dress but I dress that I used in a pageant when I was 15, I was nervous it wouldn't fit but it did (just barely) I couldn't breath all night;)

Hunter was the Best Batman Ever! He even won the best kids costume award!

Skyla was Princess Aurora and she looked darling!

Jagger was Batman's sidekick Robin and he looked so incredibly cute in his cape and mask!

OH. MY. GOSH! We are on cloud 9 right now! Chris got into the Nursing Program at Utah Valley University (UVU:) It is one of (if not THE) hardest schools to get into in the State. And on top of that, he got a full scholarship! I am SO proud of this man! He got into all three schools he applied to, and rightfully so, he has worked his butt off!

We pulled out the crystal and had some bubbly (apple cider of course:) and made a toast to this amazing man!

I LOVE FALL!

The last several Sunday's we have gone up the Canyon and had tinfoil dinners and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery. This Sunday we decided to go to Payson Lakes, honestly I don't think I have EVER bee there before, how is that possible you say? I have NO idea! I LOVED it, it was insanely beautiful! We had the best time skipping rocks, walking, talking and just hanging out!

Kelly and Jen decided to come up last minute and have smores with us...so glad they did, it was SO much fun! Can't wait to do this again next year:)

Chris goes to school at 7:30, then we get Hunter ready and he leaves at 8:15, I get back from taking him and get Skyla ready for Joy School at 9:00 pick them both up at 11:00 get back, do homework, eat lunch and get ready for dance. Come home from dance, kids take naps, I try to catch up, they wake up, play with friends, I get dinner ready, Chris comes home, we eat, kids bath, then we watch a show together or read. :)

I was rotating all of Jagger's clothes out and he wanted to help. I put these shorts on his head and he thought it was THE funniest thing ever! So I went to get my camera and try to capture how funny he thought it was, well you know how bipolar babies are, needless to say, NOT FUNNY this time around (literary a minute within each other:)

I heard Hunter bawling...I told him to come to me and tell my what happened. He comes in and I can barely tell what he's saying but I finally make it out "Skyla doesn't want to play with me!" I could help but start to laugh. He has such a sensitive little heart and he was SO upset that she didn't want to play with him.

Chris' Birthday

Chris turned the Big 33 on Tuesday. He had school so I got up and made the breakfast of his choice, pancakes, then he was off to school. That night we had everyone over for dessert and it was fun to just hang out.

Chris wanted Fruit Tart for his birthday dessert, I had never even heard of it before this but I found a recipe and gave it a try, it must have turned out because everyone said they loved it:)

On Tuesday, I sent Skyla up after lunch to get ready for dance...10 seconds later I heard a huge CRASH! She was screaming, you know one of those screams where you KNOW it hurt. I went running up stairs and apparently she was trying to get her dance outfit off the hanger and fell and hit the corner of the desk. Her eye looked a lot worse in person but it definetly could have been worse. Hunter heard what happened he immediately started getting an ice pack ready for her. He got a washrag and put ice in it (and everywhere else:) I brought her downstairs and laid her on the couch and Hunter came and laid it on her eye. He kept saying "Does that fell better sweetie?" and "Are you OK?" and "Am I pressing to hard?" He seriously has the most tender heart of anyone I have ever known. We are so blessed to have him in our family. And Skyla is blessed to have such an awesome big brother!

Let me take you back before this happened....This morning I was helping Hunter get ready for school, I started doing his hair and a HUGE chunk of his hair came out in my hands. I said (calmly) "Hunter, did you cut your hair?" He said "No!" So I asked him again, he said No again. Then he tries to convince me that it was probably from when he got his hair cut a few weeks ago. Um...nice try!:) I told him we were going to have to call the Dr. and that we would probably need some shots so he doesn't loose any more hair, he says "How many Shots?" I said "a lot!, that's why I need you to tell the truth right now...did you cut your hair Hunter" "Ya." I busted up laughing just from the sad look he gave me. Why is it that kids want to cut their hair? Oh well, hopefully he learned his lesson.:)

I couldn't find my kids the other day so I went downstairs and I found Hunter and Skyla in the Laundry Room putting all of their snow clothes on. Skyla jumps out and squeals "I'm ready for the snow Mom!" They thought they were SOOOO funny. It was 70 degrees outside. I had no idea the weather would turn so quickly and actually snow three days later! What the....!!!

Hunter's Last Soccer Game

Hunter had his last Soccer game last week and I have to admit, I'm going to miss watching his little games.

He did such a great job this year, although I'm not sure this is the sport for him. He is too nice, if somebody would come try to get the ball from him he would just stand aside and let that person get it, like "It's your turn" Skyla and I were his little cheerleaders and we would tell his to "Be Aggressive, B E aggressive!" The morning of his last game he said the prayer on breakfast and this is how he ended it..."Heavenly Father PLEASE help me to BE aggressive, B. E. aggressive at my soccer game tonight!" I was laughing so hard. He takes his manners very serious...we teach him to share, not to steal, and to be kind...in soccer we tell him the exact opposite:) I guess it's our bad...or is it?:)

Skyla's First Day of Joy School

Skyla has been SOOO excited for Joy School. She woke up early on Tuesday morning SO giddy and couldn't wait to go. Once we got there she kind of freaked out for a minute but then relaxed and had the best time! She looks forward to it every Tuesday and Thursday. It's so fun to see her learning new things and making new friends.:)

Camping

During Labor Day Weekend we went with our good friends Ty and Paige up American Fork canyon. They are BIG into Jeeps so they went in Ty's crazy awesome Jeep Wrangler and we got to go in Paige's awesome Jeep Cherokee (with hot pink detailing...love it!) We went up things you would NEVER believe! I actually had a lot of control over my anxiety so that made it even better.:) We had the most beautiful campsite, we were so high up the mountain (where no one else could get to) that we pretty much had the place to ourselves!

We seriously had THE BEST TIME! and can't wait to do it again!:)

(I don't know what I was thinking not getting more pictures of the Jeep but here is the only one I got, and yes it is sooo blurry!)

Hunter's First Day of Kindergarten

First of all, I must say that Hunter was SO beyond excited to start school! He has been waiting all summer and the #1 thing he was excited about was Homework. Well Homework he has:) He went in the week before school started for his Kindergarten Assessment which he did REALLY well, On our way home I said "So do you love your teacher?" he said "She is the best AND she's beautiful!" He is the sweetest little boy! He started school the following Monday. He had the best day at school and I must say I thought I was going to breakdown but I am SO excited for him to go to school and meet new friends and learn, I was a little sad because I missed him but SO happy for him:)

On his second day of school I went to pick him up and he was kind of hesitant to come. He looked and me and pointed to this darling little girl and said "that's her Mom, that's her!" I tried to ask who she was but he was busy looking at her to get her attention so he could introduce me. She was in a group of little girls so finally Hunter says "Bye Kendell!" she looks at him and says "Bye Hunter" with this big grin on her face. I didn't really think much about it. So we get in the car and I ask Hunter how his day was and he says "Me and Kendell played in the sandbox together, and we played on the playground together, and we got to sit by each other for a project" then he says "and guess what Mom?" "Kendell asked me if I wanted to get married!" (giggling) I said "Well what did you say?" He says "Nothing" I said "You didn't give her an answer like yes or no?" He goes (in a panicked voice) "well SHOULD I have?" I was laughing SOOOO hard and he didn't stop giggling for like 15 minutes!:) Second day of Kindergarten and already got a marriage proposal...what a stud!:)

First off...get ready for a picture overload! (and there all out of order, not sure how that happened:)

Can I just start by saying that I have THE BEST husband in all the world! He surprised me with a cruise to the Bahamas for our 10 year anniversary (it was in June) Jake and Megan came with us for their 5 year anniversary...Can I say PARTAY!!! We seriously had the BEST time! It was very relaxing, just what we all needed!

We left on Sunday (Aug. 14) and flew to Orlando where my awesome Aunt Gayle picked us up from the airport (it was SO good to see her!) and took us to the most amazing Hotel/Resort I have EVER been to! When we got there, we checked in and put our bags away and went to dinner at Olive Garden, we got there around 9:30. When we were done we walked back to the Hotel and got our swimsuits on and headed to the pool. It was AMAZING! It was right off the lake and had all of these hidden hot tubs and you swam through these rock tunnels to get to the other pool, it was awesome! The boys took the snorkel stuff to "practice" it was hilarious! We stayed there a while and then went to bed.

The next day (Monday) we got up and walked to IHOP for breakfast and then our transportation came and took us to the ship. Check in went really smoothly and we got our luggage pretty quickly and unpacked, then we went exploring on the ship. The ship left at 4:30 and then we did the "drill" and then went to a Savy Shopper meeting where we got tons of coupons and stuff for shopping. After that we got ready for dinner and met our waiter Abdul, he was great!

Tuesday we were in Coco Cay, Bahamas, it's there own little beach, we snorkeled and saw a ton of jelly fish (yikes), ate lunch, and played on this FUN jungle gym type thing in the ocean. It was a BLAST! Then we went back to the ship. It was formal night that night so we got all dressed up and went to dinner where they sang us a happy anniversary song and gave us a pretty little desert (I didn't eat it but it looked pretty:)After dinner we played poker in our room and I WON!:)

Wednesday we were in Nassau, Bahamas. It's exactly how I remember it from our very first cruise together(10 years ago). We shopped and then went to the beach where we played in the water and the boys snorkeled for seriously 3 hours before they came to dry land:) We saw some stingrays and the boys saw a blow fish and some other pretty fish. There was a big storm coming in and the guy had to come take our umbrella away but we still stayed for quite a while, It was such a fun, relaxing day!

Thursday we spent the day at sea. We pretty much just hung out! Played some bingo, at LOTS of food, Played poker, arcades, and went to the Show. After dinner we went to the room to pack up and then headed to the midnight buffet. Then went to our room and ordered Chocolate Chip cookies with milk:)

Friday we got up and went to breakfast and waited for our number to be called to check out. Then we waited for our transfer and headed to the airport where we got to wait there for 4 hours! It was actually quite fun, we went to all of the stores where Jake and I got new hats, had lunch and then played Phase 10 (I won:) and then we went and got on our flight home! This vacation was so much fun! Thanks again Chris for being amazing!

Sad

Hunter and Skyla were watching the Fox and the Hound in the other room when all of the sudden Hunter comes In SOBBING...."I miss Grandpa Jeff, I miss Grandpa Jeff!" over and over again. Obviously my eyes started tearing up immediately. I tried to calm him down, it wasn't going to work so I just held him and let him cry for a good 10 minutes. Then I said that I wanted to talk about it, when he finally calmed down I asked him what he missed the most about Grandpa and he said "Well, I know he was such a hard worker and I just love him so much and I miss him so much! And now he's dead. He's in Heaven and I won't see him for a long long time!" then started sobbing again! We were crying together at this point. What a tender hearted little boy I have, he never met Grandpa on this earth but maybe he remembers something that I don't even know about.

Soccer Camp

On Monday and Tuesday of this week Hunter and his best buddy Brock had Soccer Camp just up the street at the Centennial Park. It was so fun to watch them together! They even get to be on the same team this year, they are SO excited!:)

My Grandma invited our family to go watch Danny play with his band at the park on Monday night. We went and had so much fun! Grandma and Aunt Joy fed my kids junk the WHOLE time...whatever;) And Danny's band was really really good!

Chris has been taking a CNA class for the last week and yesterday he had his first day of clinicals. This is him when he got home:) Love this man and all of his goofiness:)

So we, my family, had a weight challenge...it lasted I think 7 weeks. We all put $30.00 into the pot and whoever won got all the money. Also the day we ended our challenge (Elisha's Birthday) we thought we would go out to dinner and go see The Sound of Music. Cory and Elisha won, Kelly and Jen were second, Chris and I got third, and Jess and Mike got fourth. I lost 13 pounds, Chris 7 pounds, it was definitively a motivating process. We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and it was AMAZING!!! (C&E ended up not coming) and then headed up to Sundance to see the musical. The cast did a really nice job! We had to hike back to our car and I'm still sore but I figure it burned off one of the three rolls I ate;)

Jagger's Birthday

For Jagger's Birthday we went to Seven Peaks with Tom, Angie, Carly and Ella. We were there a whole 15 minutes before they closed it due to rain:) We ended up going over to their house and we had a blast. The boys took the older kids fishing, Chris caught a little fish but let it go:) We had a fun day:) Happy Birthday Sweet Jagger!

July 25

July 24 actually ended up being on a Sunday, we went up to Clearfied for Aunt Darla's Farewell, she is going to the Philippines. It was so fun to see some of our extended family AND we g0t to see John and Tammy and their cute kids!

On Monday we headed to the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Parade, it was soo much fun and we got a great "seat" in the middle of the road! Later that night we had everyone over for a family BBQ and celebrated Jagger's Birthday since everyone was already together. It started getting cloudy and about 10 minutes after Jagger started downing his cake a huge micro burst and everyone went running inside. Jagger was the last one standing and I swear he almost blew away.

The karate people came and showed Hunter how to break a board, he did and was SO proud:)

I'm not sure what happened but all of the sudden he just started bawling! It was so sad! He stopped after a minute.

Me and my very best friend, Daisy! I got to see her a lot the last week and loved every minute!:)

We waited up for fireworks, Hunter, Wyatt, Uncle Kelly, and Rees fell asleep but we woke most of them up to see the fireworks:) It was a great night:)

Jagger's ONE!

I can't believe my sweet baby boy is already ONE! This year has flown right by! He really is the sweetest little boy and I am so grateful to be his Mama!

I had my studio set up for another shoot so I thought I would just hurry and take a few pictures. He would not cooperate but he was happy!:) I'll take what I can get:)

Spanish Fork Rodeo

I have to say I love me a good rodeo and Spanish Fork is the BEST! I haven't gone for years and years, not because I didn't want to but mostly because I didn't live here. I was SOOO excited to take my sweet family. They all LOVED it. Hunter was in love with the Rodeo Queen (the one in black) every time she would come out he would say "Mom! That's her! She is sooo beautiful!" Skyla would scream every time a horse would come out and Jagger danced his little heart out to the music! It was such a blast and I can't wait for next year when we get to do it again!:)

We went to the cabin a couple of weeks ago with Aunt Donna, Uncle Chad, Keana, Kameha, and Baby Nic. We had the BEST time! When we first got there Donna gave Jagger his very first Oreo... I think he liked it:) We did a lot of just hanging out. We went on walks, Four-wheeler rides, slept, and shot bee-bee(?) guns. We sure love it up there and are so glad Donna & Chad could come with us!

Keana even learned how to ride a bike with out training wheels...GO KEANA!:)

I haven't really taken many pictures of Jagger walking so here are a few. He is such a good little walker now, he rarely falls anymore.

Kameha got really sick on Sat afternoon so they took off after dinner. We had smores and played games. That night we caught 5 mice! DISGUSTING! The next day we went on a four wheeler ride and saw Bambi, it was very exciting;)

Such a fun trip!:)

Riding a Bike

Hunter is such a little stud! He tried riding his bike a couple of weeks ago but as soon as he fell the first time he was done. The morning we went to the cabin (the second time) Chris yelled for me to get the camera, I came down and Hunter was full on riding his bike. It took him twice riding a bike and he totally has it down like a pro....well, kind of:) Go Hunter!:)
